Strong National Team

A strong national Team is in the TOP 5 of the FIBA European Ranking. 

  1. Spain
  2. Serbia
  3. France
  4. Greece
  5. Lithuania

The following leagues therefore have a top level of locals:

Liga ACB, LNB Pro A, A1, ABA, LKL, ABA 2, KLS

Good National Team

A good national team is ranked 6-10 in Europe which are:

  • Russia
  • Czech Republic
  • Italy
  • Poland
  • Croatia

The following leagues have a very good level of locals:

VTB, Serie A, EBL, NBL CZE, Premijer Liga, 

 

Tournament Team

National teams with regular big tournament appearances are in the top 20 of the FIBA Europe ranking:

  • Turkey
  • Slovenia
  • Germany
  • Montenegro
  • Latvia
  • Ukraine
  • Finland
  • Georgia
  • Belgium
  • Hungary

BSL TUR, BBL, Euromillions BEL, 1. Division HUN, Est/Lat, Korisliiga, Superleague UKR, Superleague GEO, Liga Nova SLO, Erste MNE, 

Good Youth NT

A good youth national team is in the top 10 of the FIBA Europe Boys ranking. We use the good youth national team to determine good locals in 2nd tiers of national leagues.
